I like these socks. I definitely noticed the front padding in my boots even though it doesn't look that thick. It was very comfortable. I used these in combination with sock liners because my feet get cold, and it was fabulous! If you have cold feet I recommend the combo. I can't comment on durability yet since I've only used them once so far. However, they should be tested a lot this season.
