We tried these on our 2 1/2 year old, thinking it would be easier to get his thumb in the large "thumbhole". But in reality, it came out of the thumbhole a lot, and it was very difficult for him to grip onto things. Also we like to ice skate, and these fleece gloves kept freezing/sticking to the ice.
